Friday Report 11/16/12

Happy Veterans Day Everybody!   I have been making progress slowly but surely.  I have been alittle busy with other things and haven’t gotten done with as much as I wanted but I know I am going to be making a lot more progress over my Thanksgiving break.

Here is what I have accomplished:

  • Solved issue with title screen response
  • Made all options work on main title screen except for the Options button
    • Planned to add Volume option and Screen Size option to Options menu
  • Made the terrain for several levels
  • Made version 2 of the Story Document
  • Asked again for feedback on the Story Document from several people
  • Designed and further planned the Graphic Main Menu for PolySphere
  • Went through and made another flow chart of my current program structure
  • Planning Pause Menu
  • Added frames per second counter to top left corner of screen
  • Starting to learn 3D modeling in Blender
    • I will be spending a lot of time with this over Thanksgiving break.

Friday Report 11/2/12

Hey Everyone.  I have got alot done and have been having a few programming issues over the past two weeks.  My first issue has been with the menu.  For some reason it seems like after the user clicks an option, the program just stops working.  Not sure why it is doing that, but I am going to try a few different things to see if I can fix that.

Things I have accomplished:

  • Made the terrain for Chapter 1: Level 1
  • Made version 1 of the Story Document
  • Asked for feedback on the Story Document from several people
  • Designed and further planned the Graphic Main Menu for PolySphere
  • Worked more on the design of  the Quriocity Logo

Hopefully next week I will have the Graphic Menu fixed so I can focus more on other parts of the game.
